Royal Inn Rockville

It's not bad but it could use updating. The tub fixtures and the shower heads were very old and the door cards didn't work well. The people are sweet and very professional. The beds and rooms are clean.

Rooms were a bit pricey for what they were. They could update comforters on the beds. I got a "suite" one night and a normal room the next and they were identical except one was a king bed and the other room was 2 beds. The bathrooms you could see where repairs were done poorly. Small fridge and microwave, small flat screen tvs. One room was 150ish and the other was 80ish cant remember exact price. The convenience was the location to turkey run and shades state parks. The heat worked well and the view from the windows in the normal room was nice. The bathroom had red lights to heat the bathroom but only worked in the "suite" I didnt complain or care too much as I did not plan on using them. The water pressure was good. Walls were thin and I could hear everyone talking as they walked past my room. I was checked in but nothing was explained to me as far as coffee or times for the breakfast or anything like that. Just handed a key to the room and that was it.

We had a great 2 night stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable beds. Great room amenities. Friendly stay, will definitely stay again.

I come to Billie Creek village all the time, this is my first time not camping. The Front desk ladies have been so wonderful, The room was pretty comfortable. My friends and I enjoyed it

The hotel is located reasonably close to Turkey Run and Shades State Parks. Very reasonably priced. Older decor, but clean and nice. Ok continental breakfast. Personal were very nice.

I've stayed here quite a few times. Service staff are all amazing and you can't get a better location than Billie Creek. Room was clean and well kept. Let's be honest though, you're probably not staying here to enjoy the hotel ... you are here for whatever event is going on in Billie Creek Village. For that, this hotel is super coinvent, affordable, and welcoming. The rooms could use some updating though. I wish the tub stopper properly worked on the whirlpool garden tub in the king suite ... you always have to stop it up with a washcloth if you wanna soak. I wish the outlets were the modern kind with the USB hubs built in, for charging phones. I wish the pillows weren't flat ... I always either bring my own or buy new ones at the dollar General down the street. They've been doing a better job at stocking the morning breakfast with fresh fruit and pastries, which I appreciate. I wish they had frozen breakfast sandwiches you could heat up ... you know, something with protein. I wish they kept the vending machines stocked ... they're always empty. Finally, I wish they would get rid of the pool that never works and replace it with something useful and easy to maintain, like a weight room and or a public laundry room.

I always go to this location to visit family that live just in town. The owner is such a sweetheart and she knows who I am every time I come to town and always asks about my family. My family and I have been going to this location since I was a small child. Now I bring my own children. The staff has always been kind and friendly. I enjoy the jet tub rooms. The tubs are very relaxing after a long day with family. It has changed hands and over the years and has changed its name. I know they didn't have such great service before but now the new owner has always been amazing. I'm hoping to see some new changes in the future like a nicer breakfast selection, maybe new furniture/bedding/pictures/decor, better parking lot, etc. I'm sure if business picks up they will be able to make these changes considering the amount of money that would be needed for those things. I will definitely keep going here in the future when visiting family.
